Trusting Yourself Again. Recognizing the Signs. Making Informed Choices.
Sometimes something feels wrong before we can explain why. Learning to recognize warning signs, understand our instincts, and slow down before making important decisions can help us navigate relationships, situations, and everyday choices with greater confidence.
The Red Flags, Intuition & Decision-Making Workshop is an interactive, trauma-informed workshop that helps participants recognize concerning behaviors, strengthen self-awareness, evaluate situations more clearly, and develop practical decision-making skills that support personal safety and well-being.

Red flags are not always obvious. Concerning behaviors may begin subtly, be dismissed as misunderstandings, or become normalized over time. People may also second-guess themselves, ignore discomfort to avoid conflict, or struggle to distinguish fear, anxiety, past experiences, and genuine warning signs.
The Red Flags, Intuition & Decision-Making Workshop provides practical education to help participants slow down, notice patterns, gather information, identify warning signs, and make thoughtful decisions without relying on fear or impulse alone.
Participants explore how emotions, previous experiences, social pressure, relationships, stress, and personal biases can influence decision-making. They also learn why intuition can sometimes serve as an important signal to pay closer attention—not as proof that something is wrong, but as a reason to pause, assess the situation, and seek additional information when necessary.
Through real-world scenarios, interactive discussions, reflection exercises, and practical decision-making tools, participants develop greater confidence in recognizing concerning patterns and responding thoughtfully to situations involving relationships, personal boundaries, online interactions, workplaces, social environments, and everyday life.
This workshop can be customized for schools, colleges, workplaces, recovery programs, reentry programs, nonprofits, community organizations, victim advocacy programs, faith-based organizations, and support groups.
Participants will learn how to:

Many concerning situations do not begin with an obvious warning.
Instead, people may notice small changes: repeated boundary violations, pressure, inconsistent behavior, isolation, excessive control, uncomfortable requests, or simply a feeling that something deserves closer attention.
At the same time, not every uncomfortable feeling means someone is dangerous. Effective prevention education should teach people how to notice, pause, evaluate, and respond rather than automatically ignore their instincts or assume the worst.
This workshop helps participants develop that balance.
Participants learn to recognize patterns, evaluate observable behavior, consider possible consequences, identify available choices, and seek support when needed. The goal is to strengthen both self-trust and critical thinking.
These skills can be applied to relationships, friendships, workplaces, online interactions, social situations, recovery, reentry, and countless everyday decisions.
At The Jane Doe Foundation, we believe prevention includes helping people recognize when something deserves their attention and giving them practical tools for deciding what to do next.
Notice the signs. Trust yourself enough to pause. Then make an informed choice.
Learn to identify behaviors and patterns that may signal unhealthy, manipulative, controlling, exploitative, or potentially unsafe situations.
Explore what people often describe as a "gut feeling" and learn to treat intuition as a signal to pause and gather information rather than as automatic proof of danger.
Learn why repeated patterns of behavior can provide more useful information than judging an entire situation based on one interaction alone.
Recognize guilt, coercion, excessive pressure, isolation, boundary testing, controlling behavior, and other tactics that can influence decision-making.
Develop greater awareness of surroundings, circumstances, behavior, available options, and potential sources of support.
Practice separating observations from assumptions while considering available information, possible explanations, risks, and consequences.
Use practical strategies to slow down decisions, evaluate options, consider consequences, and make choices that align with personal values and safety.
Understand how personal boundaries can provide valuable information about whether another person respects your choices, limits, and autonomy.
Explore how relationships, social pressure, authority figures, online environments, and the desire for acceptance can affect judgment.
Develop confidence in asking questions, taking concerns seriously, seeking additional information, changing your mind, and asking for help when something doesn't feel right.
