Founded by survivor, advocate, and behavioral health professional Wendy Pesante, our foundation exists to support individuals impacted by trauma, abuse, addiction, mental illness, incarceration, and life's most difficult challenges.
Through education, advocacy, mentorship, and community support, we help people move beyond survival and toward healing, stability, and hope.
You can find more about her story on her website from the link above.

For many survivors, the name "Jane Doe" represents anonymity, protection, and countless voices that often go unheard.
We chose this name because it symbolizes every person who has ever felt silenced, overlooked, dismissed, or forgotten.
At The Jane Doe Foundation, we believe every story matters. Every voice matters. Every person matters. Our mission is to make a positive impact and create a better future for all.
We envision a world where survivors and individuals facing life's greatest challenges have access to the support, education, resources, and opportunities needed to heal, thrive, and reach their full potential.
