Breaking Toxic Patterns. Building Healthier Connections.
Relationships can have a powerful impact on our emotional health, confidence, safety, and overall well-being. This interactive, trauma-informed workshop helps participants recognize the difference between healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationship behaviors while developing practical skills for communication, boundaries, trust, respect, and healthier connections.

Healthy relationships are built on more than simply caring about another person. They require communication, mutual respect, trust, boundaries, accountability, and the ability to recognize when a relationship has become unhealthy.
The Healthy Relationships & Boundaries Workshop helps participants better understand relationship dynamics while developing practical skills for creating safer, healthier connections with others.
Participants explore the differences between healthy, unhealthy, and abusive behaviors, learn to recognize relationship red flags, identify controlling or manipulative behaviors, strengthen communication skills, and understand how personal boundaries contribute to emotional and physical safety.
Through interactive discussions, real-world scenarios, reflection exercises, and practical activities, participants are encouraged to examine their own relationship expectations and develop skills that can be applied to romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships, workplaces, and everyday interactions.
This workshop is appropriate for schools, colleges, community organizations, recovery programs, domestic violence programs, victim advocacy organizations, nonprofits, workplaces, faith-based organizations, and community groups. Content can be customized for the age, experiences, and needs of each audience.

Content can be customized for students, adults, survivors, recovery communities, workplaces, colleges, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, faith communities, and other groups. Examples, activities, discussions, and learning objectives can be adapted to make the workshop relevant to your audience.
Relationships influence nearly every part of our lives, yet many people are never formally taught what a healthy relationship actually looks like.
Unhealthy behaviors can sometimes be mistaken for love, loyalty, protection, or concern. Jealousy may be interpreted as caring. Control may be mistaken for protection. Constant communication may initially feel like attention. Over time, these behaviors can contribute to unhealthy relationship dynamics and make it more difficult to recognize when boundaries are being crossed.
Education can help change that.
The Healthy Relationships & Boundaries Workshop gives participants practical language and tools for identifying healthy behaviors, recognizing warning signs, communicating their needs, establishing boundaries, and making informed decisions about their relationships.
Participants also learn that healthy relationships are not conflict-free. Disagreements happen. What matters is how people communicate, respect boundaries, handle conflict, take accountability, and respond to one another's needs.
At The Jane Doe Foundation, we believe relationship education is an important part of prevention. Helping people recognize healthy and unhealthy behaviors can empower them to build safer relationships and recognize concerning patterns earlier.
